HCSNA’s mission is to help offset the enormous financial challenges faced by parents of children with special needs in the West Austin community.
Founded by families who have personally faced these challenges, Hill Country Special Needs Alliance (HCSNA) is here to provide a lifeline. Our founders, Matt and Amy Roberts, experienced first-hand the hurdles when their daughter Hannah was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. They recognized the need for a supportive community that understands the struggles and offers real help.
We strive to help offset these costs through our programs designed specifically for families in our community. By pooling resources and creating shared opportunities, we aim to lighten the load so you can focus on what truly matters—your family. Founded by heart, we connect from our courage and honor the energy of greater awareness of who we are as a strong community.
A dedicated community volunteer, loving wife to Matt, and proud mom to three incredible children, she exemplifies the spirit of compassion and resilience. Equipped with a nursing degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, she honed her skills in the pediatric ICU at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN. Today, she continues her journey of care and support as a part-time private duty nurse, all while cherishing the moments shared with her family and friends. Her commitment to service and the joy she finds in her loved ones inspire those around her to embrace the beauty of giving back and fostering strong bonds.
